A round is a single continuous recording. You shoot it on your own range, with a phone on a tripod — no marshal, no measuring tape.
Place the tripod behind the shooting line so both you and the target are in frame. Recording runs continuously through all ends.
Walk to the target so the camera can calibrate. This walk is part of the recording, and it is what fixes the distance you shot from.
Shoot your ends, walk up and show the arrow group to the camera, then score it. At the end the round is sealed into an encrypted vault and uploaded on its own once you have signal.
Why the distance holds up
No distance calibration needed: the camera's exact focal length is read from Android for every frame, including while zooming.
Scores on the boards are the shooter's sealed score log as uploaded. A row marked “verification pending” has not yet been reviewed by the jury; verified rows have been.
The recording stays encrypted on the way to the server and is only ever opened by the jury reviewing it.
